PRESENTATION OF TELEFONO AZZURRO

Telefono Azzurro promotes the full respect of children and adolescent’s rights. With its activities, it constantly encourages their development potentialities and protects them from violence and abuses that can affect their wellness and growth.

Telefono Azzurro daily listens to children and adolescents and offers concrete answers to their requests of help, also through the collaboration with institutions, associations and other territorial entities.

 

ROLE’S AIM

Increase and improve the visibility connected to press office actions and local and international radio/television placements. Reporting activities related to the Presidency in relation to activities of press office, TV/radio placements, management of relations in order to optimise the media presence, as well as the needs of positioning the Association's activities throughout the media.

 

TASKS AND ACTIVITIES

  • Strategic planning of communication activities in agreement with the Presidency;
  • Traditional press office activities (editing of articles, press releases, interviews);
  • Coordination of the external press office (agencies, consultants and foreign partners);
  • Update of the Association’s institutional channels content;
  • Organise and manage press conferences;
  • Help to define and develop reports and dossiers of the Association in order to make them functional to the media coverage.

 

STUDIES LANGUAGE AND COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Humanistic Master Degree
  • Master degree in Communication Sciences, Journalism or equivalent is preferred
  • Excellent ability to use new technologies and communication tools
  • Knowledge of non-governmental organizations with focus on children is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English (C1 level), with competences to manage interviews, press releases and media in English
  • Excellent skills of main computer tools

 

EXPERIENCES, QUALIFICATIONS AND SOFT SKILLS

  • Experience in media officer activities, press office, spokesman, or related activities
  • Work experience in national and international non-profit contexts
  • Wide availability to travel throughout Italian
  • Excellent public speaking and communication skills
  • Ability to engage with different contacts
  • Dynamism and ability to work independently and in team
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with very tight deadlines

  • Problem solving abilities and managerial autonomy
